Rose of Sharon "Vagueness is merely understanding without a point" CD
The band completed recording on their first full length as a two-piece band, but adding additional bass and guitar parts where the material called for it. 9 songs in just over 34 minutes of slow moving, indie rock gems played with an understated beauty and simplicity, all recorded by Dave Auchenbach, who handled the sessions for their "Even The Air Is Out Of Tune" release in 2001.
ROS also just contributed a revised cover of Refused's "Liberation Frequency" on the first installement of "The Pet Series" on Holland's Sally Forth Records. This is an exclusive track not to be released anywhere else! The Lot Six "Animals" CD Available
"Animals" finally peaked in its run on the CMJ Top 200 new releases played on college radio stations at #23 on November 5. They charted one position higher than Johnny Cash that week after spending 5 weeks climbing the charts. Stations across the country still have the disc in their libraries so keep calling them to hear it. Check out the band at abercrombieandfitch.com too. We were featured on the clothing stores website but we blinked and are now relegated to past mp3s. oh, well. you can get those on our site and other stuff by the band from earlier releases.
